It is crucial for us in the event of emergencies to know what to pass on to emergency services. Skating comes with risk (like all the best activities in life 🛹).

In consideration of being permitted to participate in the longboard skateboard lesson ("the Lesson") organised by Soulful Skate Co., I, the undersigned participant or the parent/legal guardian of the participant (if under 18 years of age), hereby acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

Assumption of Risk: I understand that participating in the Lesson involves inherent risks and dangers, including but not limited to the risk of falling, colliding with objects or other participants, and suffering personal injury, including death. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in the Lesson, including those risks that may not be foreseeable.
Physical Fitness and Health: I affirm that I am in good physical condition and have no medical condition or injury that would prevent my participation in the Lesson. I understand that it is my responsibility to consult with a healthcare professional regarding my ability to participate in physically demanding activities such as longboarding.
Protective Gear: I understand and agree that it is my responsibility to wear appropriate protective gear during the Lesson, including but not limited to a helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, and wrist guards. I acknowledge that failure to wear protective gear may increase the risk of injury and release Soulful Skate Co. from any liability related to such failure.
Release and Indemnity: To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, discharge, and hold harmless Soulful Skate Co., its owners, employees, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, demands, actions, causes of action, suits, damages, or liabilities, whether known or unknown, arising out of or related to my participation in the Lesson, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or wrongful death. I agree to indemnify and Soulful Skate Co. harmless from any claims brought by third parties arising out of my participation in the Lesson.
Photography and Videography: I consent to Soulful Skate Co. capturing and using photographs and videos of me during the Lesson for promotional and marketing purposes, without any compensation. I understand and agree that I have no ownership or rights to the images or videos.
If the participant is a minor, I understand that I can inform Soulful Skate Co. in writing if I do not wish for my child to be photographed or filmed. Soulful Skate Co. will make reasonable efforts to respect this preference.
Governing Law: This waiver shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
